It's no secret that I love books. While I'm hesitant to say any one thing short of the Lord Jesus is my "life," books are my hobby, my escape, and my job. I've been reading since before I started Kindergarten, which means I've covered a lot of books in the past 35+ years. As first a teacher then a proud member of the library community, and, foremost, as a reader, my goal is to foster a love of reading in as many people as possible.
I kicked around the idea of a "book blog" for a while, but never thought I was quite qualified enough. I mentioned my idea to my mom and then to my BFF. They were amazingly supportive of my venture. Their consensus was "You're a reader and have a way with words. GO FOR IT!" So...I took the leap and here we are.
My goal is simple: to review and discuss the books I read. This is all new to me (the blogging, not the reading 😉), so it may take me a while to get the hang of it all. Just bear with me, please. I think it will be quite the adventure. To Mama and Ashley, thank you so much for your encouragement. Thanks also to Mama and author extraordinaire, Erica Vetsch for help naming my blog.
